EASY TECHNIQUES FOR MAKING JEWELRY
With more than 10 years of experience as an instructor, Kathy is an encouraging,
enthusiastic teacher who believes that anyone can learn to create beautiful beaded jewelry.
Her newest book, Anyone Can Bead!, is based on her classroom experience
with thousands of students in the Pittsburgh, PA, area
where she delights in introducing people to the joy of beading.
In the summer months, Kathy teaches at the prestigious
Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, NY.
"The Bead Lady," as Kathy is known far and wide, is also the author
of three successful books on teamwork and empowerment.
Note: All classes are designed for beginners, but relatively new beaders will also benefit
from the opportunity to cement basic skills and learn helpful tips in a supportive, relaxed environment. Bring nothing to class except a willingness to amaze yourself.

* Bracelet Bonanza -In this easy, fun-filled class, design and construct two bracelets (or one necklace) using a great selection of quality beads and clasps. Learn the basic elements of design, practice using beading tools and a design board, and become comfortable sizing jewelry and crimping wire. Create whatever style your heart desires!
Time: Saturday 10 a.m.-Noon

* Earring Extravaganza -Learn to design and construct sterling silver and 14KGF earrings that reflect your unique style and personality. Using quality beads from around the world, including beautiful semi-precious stones and gorgeous glass, complete three-four pairs of earrings, depending on the complexity of your designs. Compliments guaranteed!

* Beaded Watch -It's time to make a watch! Using beautiful beads such as semi-precious stones and Czech and Indian glass beads, design and construct a unique two-strand beaded watch that is sure to become your favorite piece of jewelry. Select a watch face, and then choose from hundreds of quality beads. The possibilities for fun and beauty are endless!
